Leva Contest & Leva Sensory Contest

How to bring new light on the relationship between man and machine? Leva Contest is the answer!

Leva Contest is a competition by Francesco Costanzo and Associazione dei Maestri dell’espresso napoletano to promote baristas’ capacities in speed and quality connected with the technology of La San Marco lever machines, an icon for the world of bars and espresso.

Leva Contest is open to teams composed by 2 members. Each team has to prepare as many coffees as possible in 60 minutes by a lever coffee machine.

At Triestespresso Expo speed will be combined with quality thanks to the new Leva Sensory Contest, a competition created by Francesco Costanzo and Associazione dei Maestri dell’espresso napoletano, where each participant will have to extract three deliveries with the double filter corresponding to 6 espresso coffees of the highest possible quality using a lever espresso machine within a maximum time of 15 minutes.
