TriestEspresso Campus: the core of #TEE18 side eventsPublished 10 August 2018
A meeting point, an informal place where you can talk and exchange points of views on new trends. But also where you can acquire new solid expertise on management or coffee related fields. Last but not least, a place where you can put theory into practice: thanks to an area dedicated to roasting techniques and micro-roasteries and one dedicated to “bean to cup” technology. That, in short, is TriestESpresso Campus, the core of the side events programmed for TriestEspresso Expo’s ninth edition.
“TriestEspresso Campus – Business Innovation for Coffee”, at the Hydrostatic Station located inside the trade fair venue, will offer, from October 25 to 27, no-stop education and information events, organized by Umami Area and directed by Andrej Godina, coffee expert.
The Campus is divided into three macro-areas:
– Green2Roast: us Italians, but not only! Focusing too much on extraction and too little on roasting? Well that’s your chance to catch up! Around a small roaster, talks, practical demonstrations and individual tests will take place. A full immersion into the roasting universe and its countless variables and connotations.
– Bean2Cup: here, the spotlight is on the extraction and the technological innovation. In this area you will be able to get a closer look and further acquaintance with this specific type of coffee machine technology and learn about its pros, both direct and in terms of coffee culture promotion.
– Meet2Learn: an area dedicated to short speeches, maximum 45 minutes, featuring well-known speakers. You will have the chance to get involved in educational events with a management cut (i.e. special focus on Company Social Responsibility issues or on the micro-roastery business canvas) or in presentations of publications, projects or you will have the chance to meet a coffee grower.
…program and specific details on each area coming soon!
